Component Engineer

The candidate should have at least 2-5 years of hands-on experience with experience of working for global customers.

• First-hand experience in Component Engineering / Parts Catalog Management / Environmental Compliance Management / Product Data & Change Management
• Collecting & validating specifications for all types Electrical & Mechanical components used in telecom and networking product
• Identifying Manufacturing Part Number (MPN) for the Specifications
• Identifying alternate parts and manufacturers with Fit, Form and Function analysis
• Deep knowledge in different compliances like RoHS, REACH, Full Material Content Declaration, etc
• Sound Knowledge in Product Change Note and End of Life
• Understanding of various commodity qualification standards with the ability to analyze quality and reliability test data & reports
• Working knowledge of PLM
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or Diploma in Electronics
• Exposure to manufacturing and design is a plus.
• Good oral and excellent written communications skills.
